My pet was extremely distressed the whole time we were here and incredibly anxious to leave. The veterinarian was unfriendly and unwilling to make my pet feel more comfortable. They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule. They weren't horribly inexperienced, but I was hoping for someone with more experience. I wasn't sure they'd be able to help me. Not much was accomplished during my pet's appointment, and it left me dissatisfied. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately.

The previous paragraph was put together based on my answers to a survey. My own words: I dropped my dog off this morning after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment to remove a tumor and to neuter him. I picked him up at 4:00 and it is now 6 and he is FINALLY able to lay down but he is still crying. I was only even able to see him after I was forced to come up with the money to pay the 600.00 bill on the spot. A little "heads up" would have been nice.

After I came up with my sisters credit card number they brought him out and he had a bandage on his front leg until one tech barked at another tech to remove it. They brought him around the counter and his back end was covered in blood. He is a white dog so that stood out just fine from 10 feet away. The vet had mentioned earlier to not allow him to lick himself so naturally I asked "If I am supposed to prevent him from licking and I can't give him a bath, how is all that going to come off?" With reluctance, a rag was retreived and the "chore" was attempted. They got the slimy parts wiped away at least. As we walked to my vehicle I noticed his underside was completely orange from the iodine I believe. I guess I dont know what "normal procedure" is but if I was a vererenarian, I would at least attempt to clean up the animal when I finished an important surgury. I have to go back in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed which is odd because when I had my cat neutered "somewhere else", they were dissolving sutures requiring no return trip. As far as the "spacious waiting room", I have been inside this vet building 4 times now (Plus 3-4 other occasions with a friends pet) and there has never been anybody waiting in the wating room. Why did it take 2 weeks for my appointment?

Meanwhile, at this very moment my dog is laying behind my chair crying and has been non-stop since we got here
