I have visited this provider of medical facility though I was not seen because of ins issues and a transfer on over to this county from another I could not be seen though I was told differently when I spoke with the initial care provider that I had to call to make the transfer over as long as I was not seeing a particular Dr. that day and only a establish visit. so in between this place and the actual (sorry forgot the name) place where you get your medical card from they have to make sure they cross their eyes and dot there "T,s... so to speak. I'm sure like alot of other clinics they are under paid and not staffed well enough.? Sorry to hear of your dilemma im sure by the dr. doing that made you feel like hello your other clients are more important or his paper work and gee why is he even doing this while im here? I would think that could violate patient/Dr. confidentially even there say it was just plain down right rude! In saying all this the actual thing I really wanted to say was this.. at least this Clinic did not have a nurse practitioner say to you after the second time of visit (our time span fort the second time was over a 6 month period, so in essence 3 month ea time) for a follow up(I was taking thyroid and I was going back to see how it was happening, also that I would have the womanly routine check up done, though I felt fine I really just did not want to re make and try to schedule yet another appointment in from Lord knows when again?) So I asked for that to be done as well on my second check up for the thyroids, now here i'am in the clinic far away from here and she says to me yeah that looks good that does too, etc etc as she is looking upon a screen so your still taking the L-thyroxine gee at only .5 very low dose and she added and the ??? I said the what ??? (No I was not and i knew that, I was NEVER prescribed another prescription from when the Emergency ER dr. said to me it (pitted ademia) has nothing to do with your heart kidney or lungs but your Thyroid) Hmm I thought so here it is later and in the clinic and all i was taking was the thyroid meds. so now when she asked about and still the other med and I said No never had now what is that one as I start to say this she the practitioner says to me "Oh it does not matter anyways" just dismissed it as if it was nothing? to this day I believe it was a diuretic to loose water along with that thyroid med. Can you believe that? 'OH IT DOES NOT MATTER ANYWAYS ? THEN When I asked about still doing the womanly yearly thing she says to me well .. oh I see it was scheduled to do for this visit, they did not tell me up front, We are going to have to make another appointment cause as much as I would like to stay here with you ALL day (said my name) I just possibly can't. I thought gee and then spoke to her and said even if I could stay here with you all day I wouldn't want to! I walked off and never returned until I had to over a few yrs later, so in the mean time I go to get another second opinion on this whole thyroid business this was the first time I actually did look at the E,R release papers this must of been now at least a yr, and the other Dr. reads them and says to me " Well I don't see anywhere on here that they The E.R even did a thyroid test?" but I can see that your ? (he said it) levels may be on the cusp of being low? I asked then why wouldn't they say anything in the hospital at that time (almost a yr ago to me about this? well they wouldn't this Dr. said cause it is not too much a problem now, ) Hmm I thought so like going to the dentist lets say and they find a tooth that needs to be filled but doe not say a word but waits to fix it for when it becomes WORSE? ' i start to laugh knowing that all this time I was taking a medication for something a Dr. prescribed to me and another one that I was not taking and was suppose to? to not even mentioning the levels of something else being low? on over to the follow up with the clinic practitioner dismissing the other med? So I'm saying REALLY I did not have to take either one in the first place? So then if they really did not do the thyroid test as I was told it was not done how could something be prescribed to me in the first place? Hello??/ and now I still have the pitted adema (which is excess water filling throughout your body, this can be and is bad! especially for ones heart all that excess weight puts a toll on ones heart, which was what i was told at the Dr's as well) so guess what when I found out all the info above I kicked it all, they did not know what they are talking about another yr or so I could not walk very far without stopping and breathing badly catching my breath, so I go back to hospital I was in the intensive care for 1 1/2 days and another 3 days in regular part of the hospital for guess what?
Congestive Heart Failure and a tumor on left side of my heart which did not turn into a heart attack for it was not on the right side of my heart nor was it a stroke for the tumor did not go to my brain.
Okay this was very long winded thanks for hanging in there and reading this I hope it was helpful! I gather all I was trying to say was in the beginning how I was being treated at the Clinic, from before at the E.R? not in any means that what I went through was worse than you or anyone else, please do not take me that way I just simply explained my story more as we all have one. Thank you again for enduring with me for it took some time and now I must be going for my time to make call before 5 is running out.
As I only started off to explain about a different clinic and how bad they were to me not meaning to lead you into this long story but as God be my witness it be true!! If anyone out there had enough patience to read this through and would like to share a story or make a comment on this one of mine, Id like to say please do but as we know this is the clinics site but let me know somehow and we can connect elsewhere online.
I thank you again for listening and for the wellness Center for allowing me to vent.
