Several years ago I took my 15 year old male chocolate lab to Dr. Carastro after another vet did unnecessary eye surgery and left my lab with high eye pressures that were very painful to him. We ended up putting shots in both eyes after they couldn't be saved. He did fine as a blind dog. He still enjoyed eating, going for walks and did well around the house. I wish I had gone to Dr. Carastro first and avoided the unnecessary surgery and he most likely would not have lost his sight. I owe the surgery to a contracted eye vet that Coral Springs AH hired. I'm looking to go back to Dr. Carastro because I have a 5 year old female chocolate lab now and am considering getting on eye visits just to check everything out now and be preventative.

Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met

Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous!
