Dr.Shannon is the best vet we have had for our cats.He has called me from Texas on vacation about my cat that was in the hands of his replacement comforting me and helping me to understand my cat is in a lot of pain, his name was Sammy.I loved him so much, the Dr. sent a sympathy card and treated him cause i had him cremated, with respect and care. I know he has felt my pain more than once cause i have had to do that many times. iI have known him since i was a child. Our peacocks use to make noises and you could hear them at his office. People would ask him about them, i remember when our dog had his neck slashed somehow we lived down by the peavine tracks and how he was as gentle as you could with Sam the dog, cause he did like to bite. Dr. was bit by him quite a bit if i recall correctly. Our cat Kizzy, he was dying, of corse i did not see it, he told me all he could do was give him feel good shot that will last the day for him. I didn't get what he was telling me, for about 2 days i realize it called to come to our house to take care of him. It was time, they showed up within 20 minutes. We had 3 to 4 cats at a time, hard to take them up to the clinic that he came to our house in gave them their shots and visited with us. I will cherish those memories for ever. Dr. Shannon is the best in my eyes!!!

I was very hurt by the loss of my dog, Raven, back in June of 2016. I wrote a very emotional and hurtful review of Dr. Shannon. I even went so far as reporting the death to the Board of vet medicine. 6 months has passed, and Dr. Shannon called me today, still apologetic and obviously still hurting over the loss of my dog, and my hurtful words. He explained that he continues to have sleepless nights and wanting to be able to undo this unfortunate event, but he can't. I understand there may have been a medical situation that was beyond his control. I understand that we're all humans and mistakes are sometimes made. I can't say with certainty what occurred during that operation, but what I can tell you, is that I forgive Dr. Shannon. I don't want him to have sleepless nights over this or feel less of a person because of the words I spoke. I appreciate his reaching out to me 6 months later, and his apologetic words despite my hurtful words.

I'll never entrust another family member to Dr. Shannon. What was to be a routine surgery to get her spayed, ended tragically. He called me and said, "your dog is dead"! I rushed to his office to find my dog laying on the table with her eyes and mouth wide open and an incision in her belly. I didn't see much blood at all. Dr. Shannon didn't give me an explanation as to how or why this happened, other than "there was a lot of blood...she didn't make it...you don't owe me anything and I will cremate her at no charge. I trusted him to provide good care. I would have paid any amount of money for that. Raven wasn't just our pet. She was a valued family member; me and my husband's only baby together. She was very much a part of our family. My house is left empty and so is my heart. As a godly woman, I know the right thing to do is forgive him. That would be so much easier to do if he was willing to be honest and admit that he just made a mistake. MY HEART IS BROKEN!

They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. I left feeling like I really learned a lot. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.
