My assigned doctor was Dr. Gantt of which I never met. He would not be able to recognize me out of a line up if he had too. I have been treated at TVPC for over two years for severe bladder pain following my contract to the letter with no issues. I recently had a severe kidney infection which significantly increased my pain level, so I called TVPC to speak with the nurse who normally treats me during appointments. Her name is Jennifer. I asked to speak with her, but was only able to speak with someone who tried to act as a go between and was completely unfamiliar with my situation or history. I was calling to ask for advice on how to deal with the increased pain since the contract requires me to report any medications that I am prescribed which I have always done. Instead I was treated very rudely by this individual who actually hung up the phone 3 times. I was interegated as to the amount of pain meds that I still had and provided the count which was consistent with the amount of time remaining before my next appointment. The individual on the phone obiviously was not strong in math as I had to explain to her how many I was suppose to take each day. I was then informed that I would no longer be treated at TVPC and would receive a letter in the mail with the reasons. I have never been treated so unprofessionally like this by any medical facility. I encourage anyone needing pain management to look elsewhere and get the respect that any patient should demand.

MOST of the staff is not that friendly. I have meet 1 nurse and 1 PA that seemed to care. No one went out of their way to make me feel welcome (or that they were even happy to be at work. I regularly have issues getting them to call back. Both the nurses and the "refill line". They tell you to give them 48 hrs to get back in touch with you (or call in your order). So far I have had to call them back on day 4 to find out what the doctor said or the status of my order. I have only met my doctor once (my 1st visit). The first couple of months I was very happy, now I feel like they don't care; they only want the workers comp check.

Every time I come in for an appointment, and throughout the appointment, I'm always having to remind them who I am and what my circumstances are. It's very frustrating. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. They consistently dismiss my concerns and accuse me of making problems up. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. They didn't follow through with almost everything they told me I would get when I first arrived. I feel like they slighted me. In over one year I have only seen my assigned doctor (Gantt) one time which was when he did injections in my neck. His nurse is rude, accusing and non-helpful. She does to doctoring rather than getting to see the REAL doctor. They should be brought up on false advertising charges. No one should have to live in pain? My pain is REAL due to a car wreck that shattered my spine when I was ejected. I have a titanium plate in my back and they did NOTHING to help me. Save Yourselves? Find a REAL doctor and pain clinic to help you! Stay away from this place and this doctor? !!
