I questioned a specific vaccine for my 16 week old puppy and the vet told me that he didn't have time to argue with me about it. I wasn't arguing, I was just asking. Not very open to the possibility of bad reactions to vaccines or that a dog owner would question a vaccine, even when the I explained that I had had 2 dogs die from vaccine reactions. This was one of the vets. The other vet is not like that and has time to listen to concerns. I might have caught the one vet on a bad day, but this is my dogs life and I am solely responsible for his health and wellbeing, a responsibility that I take very seriously. This was a scheduled appointment, so I was confused when he said that he didn't have time. I felt that what really was the case was that he felt superior to me and didn't like the fact that I questioned what he was recommending. I don't feel like he handled himself appropriately.
