My family has taken every animal we have owned to this vet for over 30years. I had nothing but positive experiences UNTIL now. Dr. Tyler needs to improve her bedside manner. Whatever you do - do not show up an hour before lunch time and be the poor sap who has to wait an hour to be called in 2 minutes before noon. I was fine with the wait it was the verbal beat down I got after my cat and I were called back. I had a very sick cat and was there to find the reason. Dr. Tyler must have had some serious lunch time plans because her bedside manner was beastly. I was told the cat probably just had a sore throat and was dehydrated. What!?!
No matter how hard I tried to explain that the cat was much sicker than this, I got shot down with every word. Dr. Tyler was demeaning in every possible way, flipped my arm back as I tried to pet my highly distressed cat, and then started talking down to my wife. I seriously think the Dr was upset because she wanted to get to lunch. I lost all respect for this place, if they employ someone like this.
We paid our bill and walked out with our tails between our legs. The cat died shortly after. She was a beloved rescue cat we had for over 13 years who was well taken care of. We live on a fixed income and after paying this vet bill $70, we were trying to save up more to take to another vet and she died before we could manage it. We will not return until Dr.Tyler does not work there otherwise the other vets here are outstanding!
