I would recommend a different doctor if you're looking to be treated with suboxone. Before setting an appointment, I checked this web page and found good ratings, which now surprise me. When I arrived his wife made it clear they do not work with insurance, and the office visit was to be paid upfront before services were given, preferrably in cash. I recieved a hand written receipt. Initially I was told the cost would be $300.00 to be treated for a week, then $200.00 the following week, $150.00 the final week. However, after my first appointment was paid for, I was given a prescription for 4 days and was told I would have to pay 200.00 on that 4th day to get an another script for 4 days then 150.00 4 days after, that's 650.00 for just over a week. They stated that Dr. Garlick "cared about my well being" thus needing to be seen sooner to ensure that I was okay, but Dr. Garlick never called to check on my well being after I missed my appointment due to the inability to pay, and I unfortunately had medical complications due to abruptly stopping a prescription. I would recommend Douglas Ikelheimer, he is on the board of Denver Health Hospital, and his services are half the price of Doctor Garlick.

The staff didn't seem to know very much, they couldn't ever answer my questions

Practically Impossible

Very, they contradicted everything I said and became very angry

I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. I really like the chairs they have in their waiting room. They are high quality and comfortable. They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time.
