If I could give a '0 stars' review I would. I have seen better Emergency Rooms in downtown Detroit. I came in around 2 AM with shortness of breath, extremely high blood pressure, and scared out of my wits that I was having a stroke or hear attack. They took my info but 'warned' me that 'it could be a while' since there had been ' a lot of ambulance traffic that night'. There was only ONE other person in the ER waiting room the entire time I was there (nearly 3 hours). I finally had to leave without being seen by anyone. When I announced my intention to leave and walked up to the desk everyone scrambled around to make SURE they had my insurance information and would not let me leave until I signed a form stating that 'they did not FORCE me to leave'. I have heard about terrible treatment in our VA hospitals, but the treatment (or lack thereof) that one can expect to receive at Freeman Hospital in Joplin is the worst of the worst. The Willcoxon family would be abhorred to know how low the quality of this institution has fallen.

Absolutely not! I constantly have to repeat and re-explain my situation!

Yes, I'm going tell everyone about them. I absolutely love this place!

Not at all, they were glad to help me with anything I needed
