My dog has been treated at 4 paws animal hospital for years and at the time could not have said anything better about the staff as I always entrusted them with my animal. He had numerous tests at this facility for
various issues that he had been going on with hairloss, vomiting , diarrhea and other issues. They always assured me this was a virus and prescribed antiobiotics. However, upon extreme routine testing at
other hospitals, my dog was found to have a mass on his spleen which is now malignant and has spread to his liver. He was also tested at
4 paws for cushings disease which was negative at 4 paws but he has also been diagnosed with cushings disease at this time. I am extremely heartbroken and upset as I believe these issues could have been caught earlier.

I moved to California several months ago and have already seen 3 different vets. I am writing this review because I miss 4 Paws and especially Dr Darren Weisenstein. No one took care of my dogs like he did. He is so caring, honest and most of all knowledgable. Even though I am now across the country, I have still been calling 4 Paws for advice, and Dr W will ALWAYS call me back and ALWAYS help (never thinking to charge me one cent for his advice). Everyone there treats the patients like family. I wish I could find a vet like that out here. It seems that all I am finding are vets looking to overcharge. To Dr W and everyone at 4 Paws - I miss you! xoxo

I have been a loyal customer of 4 Paws Animal Hospital for the last 9 years. Dr. Darren Weisenstein is the absolute best vet! My dog Cody actually LOVES going to see him! He is so caring and ng a holiday weekend, I called Dr. Darren on his cell phone in complete panic. Cody had a visible puncture wound. Dr. Weisenstein not only answered my call, but personally met me at the clinic to stitch Cody up and got him better. No one else that I know would do that! I cannot tell you how many times when my dog has gotten sick, he has gone out of his way for us. His entire staff is caring and respectful. I can always get an appointment and they notify me via mail and phone to remind me when Cody is due for shots or check ups. I've even gotten phone calls to check on Cody's progress when he's gotten ill. Everyone there is not only professional, but they genuinely care for my dog's well being.

I would hands down recommend this clinic to anyone! Best vets and staff! I can call him for the slightest concern for my dog Cody.

STAY AWAY FROM DR TURK AT FOUR PAWS ... Just wanted to make everyone aware of a sickening experience I had. My 5 year old daschund was not feeling well this weekend he was wheezing, tense, and just not himself. We brought him into four paws and he was seen by Dr Orzell .... Her diagnosis was that he was 2lbs overweight and that his heaviness was making him wheeze... Needless to say we went back home thinking everything was okay, got out of the car put him down and he couldn't walk his back legs were dead they just gave out. We brought him right to red bank animal hospital where he was diagnosed with a herniated disc and is now going in for $8000 spinal surgery. When I called four paws to let them know about this I got Dr Turk on the phone who would not even let me speak he was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful over speaking me with a nasty threatening attitude and refuses to give the money back ... Now anyone with a pet knows how hard it is when they're sick... Try dropping your dog off at the hospital (first night away from his family ever) and then being ripped apart and disrespected on the phone by this cold heartless man... This needs to be shared and shared again... Dr Turk is a disgusting individual and I hope that this message saves at least one person from going through the heart ache and aggravation this man cause my family tonight :.. I could care less about the $80 visit fee he doesn't want to give back what matters to me is the harsh rude tone this horrible man used with me... Please do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY FROM DR TURK AT FOUR PAWS.

Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.
