Very judged. I went for a strained acl, but I wanted an x-ray NO MEDS! I was asked personal questions because I was emotional if i'm safe at home and told to rethink my marriage with my husband. Very inappropriate! This was with the nurse. Then the dr james came in and said what do you want? Then I lost it!i said my knee hurts here and here I need an x-ray...no compassion, I walked out and NEVER go to Condell again! no compassion at all! go to vista!

I was seen at Condell Acute Care Center in Round Lake Beach for a work related injury. The Doctor diagnosed me with having a pinched nerve in my back. He said that I may return to work with restrictions. However, I had to call in sick the next day because I'm still having a hard time bending over and sitting up. I called the Doctor back the following day to let him know my situation. He informed me that he told me yesterday that I would be experiencing pain for at least 2-3 more days. Yet, he refused to give me a letter allowing me to take off of work. Therefor, I do not get paid from workman's comp for my injuries.

They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.

I would NEVER go there again!!!!!! These people are here to take advantage of you. I went there in extreme pain from a UTI. I was in so much pain, I thought I was going to pass a kidney stone...when I first arrived, I asked how much they would charge me. I have no insurance. I was told they typically charge $200 for a visit. I thought ok, I can afford this...and I was hurting so bad! I will never forget getting the bill. MY BILL FROM CONDELL WAS OVER $800 AND THAT DID NOT INCLUDE THE BILL FROM THE DOCTOR OR THE LAB WORK!!!!! I called them and they said they had given me a discount for no insurance...can you beleive that? My bill is over $1200 for the entire visit and that includes the non insurance discount??? In my opinion, they SCAM people that are in pain by telling you they will charge you $200 and than charging you over $1200. I cannot beleive this is even legal!! If I know how to file a formal complaint against these vultures, I would!!!!
