Dr. Dennis has been my vet for over 30 years, seeing me through the lives and passing of several pets. I have such faith and trust in him that I would never go to another vet. He genuinely cares about my pets as does all of his staff. Any time we've had a procedure done (like spaying) they always call my home the next day to see how my pet is.

He also knows how to tell the hard truths in a gentle way and educates you along the way on how to care for your pets. His compassion when I've faced the final decision is so comforting. He is always up to date on the newest procedures and never overcharges you. I've talked with friends who go to other vets and I've constantly said "you paid what??"

I highly recommend Dr. Dennis and the entire Oakwood Animal Hospital staff.

I really like Dennis and his vet assistants. I have always felt they have given my pets excellent care. But the weak link in his business is the older lady who is the receptionist. Probably one of the most mundane, non smiling and sometimes down right rude woman I have ever met. She is down right unfriendly and makes every visit uncomfortable for me. There's also never a thank you after dropping hundreds of dollars a visit. The vet needs to do some damage control on the receptionist, she needs to know the customers are the ones that pay her salary. It would only help his business.
