Company cannot be relied upon to follow through with what they tell you they will do. I have had a problem with "our account" being transferred from the Galax office to Bedford. First moved to this area last August, was told account would be transferred to Roanoke. Never heard from company except to get a bill saying we were going to be sent to collections for a bill that I had paid cash for. Took 6 months for them to find that money. Then my husband was released from hospital a month ago on continuous oxygen and guess what-NO OXYGEN ! Called Roanoke, told it wasn't their region; transferred me to Bedford office. Young lady had our info and said some one would come on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and no oxygen and no phone call. Called them next day and was told they had no record of our account and that I would have to call Galax to have account transferred. Called Galax office, was told they never had any record of being asked to transfer account and that the person who signed off on the accounts was on vacation and nothing could be done until then. He then said he would have someone call me backin a few minutes. 2 weeks and 1 day later, I am still waiting for that call. Home health nurse did finally get in touch with someone to bring us oxygen and to check his machine. A young man did come out the next day to go over equipment and had to leave a tank because portable oxygenator tank not working right and was missing a cord. He said we should hear from company by past Monday as to a cord and getting machine fixed. Today is Friday no call. I called them about 20 min. ago and they are supposed to be returning my call. I would give all of Lincare a zero star but I guess I can't go any lower than a 1 star.
Lincare features a courteous, professional and responsive team. I have had my CPAP supply and other sporadic medical supply needs met efficiently and promptly since 2009.
After dealing with other area providers, my husband and I both value the excellent service that Lincare provides to its customers. I have never called and not gotten help, either with my C-PAP machine itself, or with questions for the billing department. They seem to really care.
