When I went in I had only got a couple badly needed upgrades on my wheel chair every thing was ok other than the fact that the new back that had been ordered didnt quite fit. When he said he had a soulution I was more than impressed till I found out it was just making a slit in the side of the holes where my back is suppose to connect to the chair. It has been quite sometime ago that this happened but I still have to deal with the click click of fabric hitting spokes.....very annoying.
Beware of this company. They are extremely poorly managed and after they have your insurance contract if there are any so called "hitches" they will report their equipment as stolen to the police in order to recuperate it. They abused and extorted us by threatening to report our wheelchair as stolen if we didn't give it to them immediately. We were there to upgrade and decided not to. My classy mother ended up wetting herself in the car because "immediately" was after 5pm and all the stores were closed and we did not want to risk having a police report, but had no back up wheelchair. You may think this won't happen to you, but this company is in the ghetto and they use any means they think is appropriate. I hope hospitals and Siskin stays far away from this company. They are bad news.
The staff didn't seem to know a whole lot about the company they worked for. Every single time I'd ask them a question, they'd refer me to someone else. It was very frustrating. The first time I walked into their office, I immediately smelled an absolutely horrible odor. I don't think they've ever cleaned the place. It made me nauseous. There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. The wait has gotten longer and longer from when I first started seeing them. Their office looked like the cleaning crew may have skipped a couple weeks.
