I had my prescription for my CPAP equipment with this company since it the doctor first ordered it. When ordering supplies for it December - they sent the wrong tubing. When I called and asked them about it, I got a girl that just wanted to argue about it, not get me the right tube. I had to make several calls to them, then to my doctor who simple renewed the prescription in order to get my proper equipment. As if doctor's aren't busy enough with today's medical state.
The company supplied the machine, it has to be in their records, but the couldn't have just looked it up and sent the right tube. The tube got here over 6 weeks past due.
They had to argue that the tube they sent was proper, even though it leaked air because of a bad fit. Shame on this company for not rectifying the problem without giving the customer a big hassle when the issue was COMPLETELY their fault.

I'm from Mt. Vernon, OH and Hursh sent me to use the oldest and nastiest automatic bed they had in their warehouse. Dumb me, I assumed this equipment was typical, only to realize, after talking with Medicare this date, this type of business is typical. They, Hursh, still has to maintain said equipment and sadly to say they will bill my Medicare. In addition to, they also supplied me with the cheapest mattress known to man. I'm bed ridden now and feel they took advantage of me!
I will call the BBB and explain plus verify my actions.

As a professional, I worked wirh Hursh Drugs for many years. Mainly with the DME division. I am angry that I was treated with a dismissive attitude and told that I was not able to purchase an item and yet a gentleman from the our same facility was given the cost of the item and told that it could be purchased.

Exactly what is your present criteria for making a decision who you will sell to and what you will sell?
