This is a pathetic excuse for a surgical supply company which should be in the business of helping people. They are self-serving to ensure generating profits for themselves. In a word, Community Surgical Supply of Toms River is incompetent and are not truthful regarding their processes with setting up equipment in a prompt manner that they identified would occur. Would have given "NO STARS" above, but that was not an option.
Recommend: if you can't deliver what you say you will deliver, get employees who want a job and can help the elderly/patients. No excuse for incompetence. Medicare will be advised of their sub optimal service. Exploitation of seniors for profit is unconscionable.

Hi
I have been waiting on the phone for approximately 1 hour and 1/2 to speak with someone in customer service after being transferred at least 4 times. The staff I have spoken to in the past were not truthful. This company should not be in business they treat their customers awful. This is the second review I have written about them. Still waiting for someone to answer. Horrible!

One of the worst DME suppliers anywhere! Customer service & billing are a joke, you can NEVER get through & you are put on hold & then disconnected.
My most recent order, half of it was wrong, including shipping a part that would not fit my CPAP, even though they knew it was incorrect. It is impossible to get them to arrange for a return. And they charged Medicare for the incorrect items.
If your doctor recommends them, say NO!

Unfortunately this is one of the few medicare approved DME providers. Their phone system stinks. I've never waited less then 15 mins before you can talk to a live person. Usually I'm on the phone for over an hour being transferred from one dept to another before I get to talk to the proper person. They promote themselves as a family owned business that cares about their customer's health. Their actions don't match their words. I've even left messages for the owner with no response. They all say they know their phone system is messed up but don't fix it. It's very frustrating to try to get medical supplies from them. I wouldn't use them except for the insurance coverage.

This is the most frustrating company to have to order a medical supply from. Mainly because they don't have enough staff to answer the phones. I have been on hold for over an hour before getting to speak to a live person. Then they transfer you to another department & you're on hold for another 30 minutes or so. I hate having to have my time wasted. They sell CPAP machines & equipment but don't even have a voice prompt for the Respiratory dept. on the phone. There phone system has been like this for over a year. I've expressed my frustration with how long the hold times are but they haven't fixed their phone systems yet. They don't care that they are causing so much stress & aggravation for their customers. They say they are a family owned business but not one of their employees know the name of the owner. I can't talk to someone in upper management to tell them how their phone system needs to be upgraded. Not only is it frustrating to have these long hold times, their delivery is even worse. It takes almost a month to try to schedule of home visit with a respiratory therapist or delivery of a CPAP machine. Please fix your phone system & hire more people to help customers so they don't have to wait so long on hold. Thank you.
