I have had apptmts on two separate days this week for delivery of a replacement C Pap machine - I have received no calls and both days were no shows on the part of who ever was supposed to bring this-this is unacceptable and I would prefer another company
This is the worst company to deal with! Customer service is non-existent. Cannot get thru to the call center. On hold for 20+ minutes, then they answer & put you back into queue. Phone calls not returned if you can get someone to answer to phone. Only gave 1 star to get review to get posted.
I would tell you my story but it seems Wellness censors most of the bad information. Why bother? I use Florida Medical because I have to. Would I use another provider if I could? Absolutely.
It's interesting that most of these reviews are erased. This is a Humana referral facility that I was using for a C-Pap machine with diagnosed sleep apnea. After eight weeks of extensive testing, a repeat test, the Pulmonary Doctor signed off on my C-pap December 14, 2015. I phoned this facility repeatedly, sometimes daily, and 15% of the time I'd have someone answer the phone. It was determined they never received the December 14th orders (my doctor has faxed copies) so they had to re-fax and I was phoned and told I would hear from them soon. A month later and still no response to my calls I found out they needed the "sleep study" but they ever phoned my physician nor the sleep study clinic to let them know. A few more weeks went by. All the while I'm exhausted from sleep apea and felt like I was living in the Soviet Republic, or in Canada, with socialized medicine. Tomorrow I will get my C-pap machine but I am uncertain how anyone can call this place a business of any standards or quality. My whole dealings with this facility is like an episode of "Whose on First". Perhaps Humana picks the lowest bidder, who knows, but it surely makes me want to change insurance plans if nothing else. I can't imagine people with COPD with a emergency need of oxygen relying on this facility. They'd be dead before someone answered the phone!
Darlene Schuler is very helpful but the rest of the support staff is far less helpful and generally unwilling to help a customer solve a problem. When asked for their help all they give you is excuses and pass the buck. Typically the receptionist’s wants to set another appoint as opposed to giving your call to someone who can help. Needless to say this does nothing for the customer but increase his or her frustration. In one case Darlene was out sick and I was told no one in the office could address my problem of adjusting the pressure on my machine so I could get some sleep. All the receptionist would do was to schedule another appointment even though they had a "script" from a doctor to change my air pressure. The doctor told me Florida Medical could adjust the pressure remotely but I goy no help, only a pass the buck approach. I asked the receptionist, do shut down the business when Darlene is gone for a week or does someone take her place and do the air pressure adjustments? Her response was one else is authorized to make those changes. The air pressure issue went on until I figured out how to program the machine myself and make the necessary adjustments from a manual that Florida Medical removed from the packet of information at came with the CPAP machine.
If you any other choice than Florida Medical I strongly advise you to go there.
TERRIBLE!!!! Their answering recording is a TOTAL JOKE!!! God forbid anyone should have an actual emergency - Florida Medical would not be able to provide service in a timely manner. The only way to get through to someone (instead of hanging on and then being cut off), is to choose Option 2 for Physicians & Hospitals making new referrals. This company should be put out of business for dereliction of responsibilities to people who require their type of services. Horrible customer service!!!! Thank goodness I was only calling to try to find out how to return my son's modem for which he would be charged $10 per month if it weren't returned. It's a shame I had to give them any stars at all - they deserve a negative!!!
The employees are rude over the phone and act as if they are too bothered to be of any help. They have, in my opinion no concept whatsoever of customer service. I will now write a complaint to the BBB .
The worst company I have ever dealt with!! They don't return your phone calls, staff has a very laxed attitude and make you feel as if your health doesn't matter to them. So sad, and unfortunately as my doctors office said they are the only place in my area that accepts Humana Insurance. (I guess that is why they act the way they do) Such a shame and unfair.The first girl I spoke with there was so rude and flat out told me "Its not my job, to give your primary any information, that comes from your specialist."No help what so ever!
