I had the misfortune of visiting Carter's Pharmacy in Matawan, NJ this afternoon. Upon entering solely for the purpose of purchasing lottery tickets, I was greeted with an immense level of disrespect and discourtesy. An employee behind the lottery counter was shockingly abusive. You would think that with the proliferation of chain pharmacies throughout America, the few remaining small business pharmacies would make an effort to treat customers with respect and courtesy. I not only refuse to ever patronize this establishment again but strongly discourage others from visiting the store.
