In the past 14 years we've had 6 dogs and a cat. Most of them were rescued animals. We have been using the Wellness Center at the SPCA in Lakeland for the majority of that time. The doctors are so wonderful with the animals regardless of species. Even the dogs we've had who were extremely leery of them, the doctors, VAs and techs always handle them so well with kindness and understanding. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my pets always have sound and excellent care every time I walk in the door. They are more than willing to take the time to listen to questions, are friendly and congenial and offer their advice in a very respectful manner. We've had everything handled from allergies, to general wellness care, vaccinations, spaying and neutering to a terrible heartworm infestation in one of the middle aged dogs we adopted that was found at his first wellness visit for his vaccinations.

The office staff are equally wonderful and our family truly appreciates the work, dedication and attitude of everyone at the Lakeland SPCA Wellness Center.

Always, there's no fear of your pet going hungry or thirsty here. They have bowls all over the office.

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Absolutely, I knew exactly what my pet had and what treatment options were available.
