I brought my dog here after a night of vomiting and diarrhea. She was dehydrated and needed an IV. They had her there for four days. I should have taken her home after two but the tech (or front desk?) had said she was still not keeping food down. In the first two days, they did two x-rays and an ultrasound but really did nothing for her the second two days. As she is 15 1/2, I trusted their advice. My bill was very high and they never came to any conclusion. Once I brought her home, I went back to her regular food, etc and she was fine. I am assuming it was just some sort of dog flu. But, $5000 spent. My biggest complaint would be the lack of communication. No one called me during the day with updates. When I called them, they were too busy to come to the phone. When I went to visit her in the evenings, they were all too busy to come and talk to me. Even when I picked her up, no doctor came to talk to me. Again I was told they were busy but would call me that evening to talk through what they did and any conclusions or instructions. I never got a call.

The only reason it is one and a half stars and not one is because they were friendly and responsive day 1 when I took her in and she did need the IV.

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
