My husband and I took our first cat to Dr. Hatwig when she was in West Des Moines, Iowa. We loved Dr. Hartwig and most importantly so did Fritz and Rascal. At the age of seven, we lost both Rascal, and a few months later Fritz. Rascal had cancer in his bones and Fritz had liver damage. This was my first time as an owner of a cat and losing two of them and so close together was so devastating to me and my husband. Dr. Hartwig let us know that the best last thing you can do for your loyal companions is to let them go when it is time. After we had to let Fritz go, she let us know that Rascal was waiting for Fritz and that they were now together. Her compassion for not only our pets but also us was so appreciated. That was 1990-1998. Since then we have had Belle, Tinker, and Amelia Belle. We have missed have Dr. Hartwig taking care of our pets but we wish her well in CO. My dog does not feel comfortable around other dog's and at Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital they are very respectful of that, which I appreciate.

Dr. Hartwig was able to diagnose and treat our dog's issue very efficiently. I know she's in good hands at TLC.

Dr. Hartwig was able to diagnose our older dog with ailments that we didn't even realize were happening, and once we were ready she guided us through the end of life process with such compassion and empathy. She is a rare talent.

Dr. Hartwick is marvelous! She and her staff at Tender Loving Care have really worked with me to improve the health of my very old cat. Thy have played a huge role in helping her live a comfortable life.

My dogs received laser therapy here and it helped them tremendously. The vet here knows what she's doing and she isn't pushy. he wants the best care for your animal as well.

Been bring our cats here for about a year and a half now. The facility is very nice and we never have to wait too long to see Dr. Hartwig.

The facility is absolutely beautiful and the staff is extremely competent. There is a clear rapport between Dr. Hartwig, her patients, and her human clients.

I've had acupuncture done with my dog at Tender Loving Care and the doctor takes her time to fill me in. They have brought her back to great health and I don't think she would be here if it wasn't for her doctors and the acupuncture treatments.

Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.
