My three older cats have received excellent care at Park County Animal Hospital since we moved to the Fairplay area three years ago. I have used them for boarding, yearly visits, dental surgery, and senior care. Excellent care in all aspects of service. Very clean accomodations and on time appointments. State of the art and up to date knowledge of current ways of treatment. I would highly recommend them.

While camping near Fairplay this weekend, my 6 year old boxer tore a nail off his back paw. You could tell he was in a lot of pain and we were very worried that we would have to cut our trip short. Luckily we noticed the Park County Animal Hospital while getting supplies in town. We called around 12:15pm on a Saturday, just as they were closing up for the day. Dr. Jeremy Ickes and his staff stayed late and took precious time out of their weekend to see us. Everyone was very professional and did a fantastic job in fixing up a very hurt pup.

You can definitely tell that both Dr. Ickes and his staff genuinely care about animals. I'm very impressed and grateful that they were willing to stay late to address the needs of a patient that isn't part of their regular practice. It definitely demonstrates the quality and integrity of Dr. Ickes and his team.

We are new to Dr. Ickes practice. We took our kitten in for her first round of shots & I was extremely impressed with Dr. Ickes & his staff! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were so friendly & answered all of our questions, the visit didn't seem rushed, & you could tell that Dr. Ickes is very much an animal person! We have found our family pet's vet! =)

They have the greatest designated area for pets to go to the bathroom here, which is extremely convenient. I never have to worry about scouting out a place for my dog to go pee and It is so well kept too. They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I have never seen them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and make sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here.
