Dr. Ray and staff are so kind and compassionate and understanding of my situation. They have consoled me and encouraged me and even give me a hug when I visit. They know my unique situation and make every attempt to deal my special needs. Dr. Ray and staff go out of their way to make me feel respected and they are especially sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. Every time I come here they always remember me and my dog by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I have never seen them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and make sure the Dr. Ray has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. Dr. Ray and staff take a very personal approach to each family, they are just amazing. I would and do recommend the Animal Hospital of Mount Vernon to anyone - there just isn't a better vet. .

Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I have never seen them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and make sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is none better than Dr. Ray and his staff.
