This is not a review about their actual services, but about their practice, poor judgement of guidelines and mediocre customer service.
My wife took a stray cat to be checked (since it had no tags). She told 2 employees that the cat was a stray. You would think that the first thing they would do would be to check for a microchip, but that would mean no $$$. They performed all more testing that I would have liked, but my wife was happy to have a cat again since childhood. When the shots and tests were done, one of the employees decided to check for the microchip and guess what?!? It had one! He then informed my wife that the phone number listed was a non-working number that gave her the info where to change the cat's info after 3 days. That sounds nice...but yet another twist, within 10 minutes of leaving the office she got a call directly from the cat's owner (who lives in a few doors down from us). We took the cat back and started the game of trying to get our $150 dollars reimbursed from the vet. After several calls, I was able to talk to an employee (although I had asked to talk to the owner). He was not apologetic at all and said that my wife had consented to the treatment (I said: what about following guidelines about checking for the microchip, he was unaware of the guidelines posted by the AVMA and the State of Texas). When asked: what can you do about this? He simply said: We will make sure that this doesn't happen again. Which did not make me happy (I was clearly upset and let him know it, because I know that if I do not let users know, this WILL happen again to someone else). I asked to be reimbursed for at least the fecal testing and meds that were not used at all. He agreed (although I would have liked for them to proposed this right from the start). I checked the ranking of this place, it's #14 in the city, please go to the other #13 just out of principal, I am very tired of the lack of costumer service and the scams to get more money out of your wallet by any means necessary.

Yes
Did this veterinarian seem overwhelmed with too many pets?
No, he/she seemed very calm and not in a rush to see the next pet
Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call?
I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places
Does this provider always put the customer first?
Somewhat, but I didn't feel like they cared about my needs
Does this provider always take that extra step to make you feel special?
No, I don't think they appreciate my loyalty

No, I didn't have to wait very long

Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet

Not at all, their cologne smelled great
Did this veterinarian have a large selection of medication available for your pet?
Absolutely, they are always in stock and even offer flea medication by the month

This veterinarian was so incredibly compassionate when my pet was sick. They consoled me when I was upset and even gave me a hug. I have had pets most of my life and it is great to find a veterinary office this good. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions. Sometimes the phone is ringing off the hook, but the office manager knows how to keep it all organized and will come back to me in a timely manner. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. During my recent hospital stay and recovery, I had my cat stay here as she needed medication twice a day. They didn't mind when I called to ask how my kitty was doing, and when I came by to visit (before I was well enough to take her back home) they let me use one of the empty rooms so we could play a little bit.
