A year ago, I took my cat here to have his back claws removed due to our new furniture being torn apart. They sent him home with the holes in his back paws glued shut with no cone on his head. Of course because of the lack of a cone, my cat started to bite away at the glue on his feet. About 2 weeks later, he became very ill and his feet were full of infection. I had to take him to the emergency animal hospital over a hour away to save his life. Luckily, they were able to take care of him but the charges were over $700. We contacted the Hazleton Vet hospital to inform them of what happened and they told us to come in for them to check how my cat was doing and charged us another $250. We were absolutely shocked at the lack of common sense this place has because usually when any animal has a surgery they have a cone put on their head, but this place failed to do so and cost us over $1000 in total charges to ensure my cat didn't die due to their complications.

After dropping off my pet at 8:00am for surgery, I was told to call them at 12 to see when I could pick him up. When I called a rude "girl" told me he didn't even get in surgery yet and call back at 4pm to see when I could pick him up. My poor pet was there for over 4 hours and they didn't even look at him. I was told the Dr had other surgeries to do and I told this person my pet was the "other surgery". What a complacent attitude these people have. Plus my pet was there terrified listening to all the different noises. No, I do not recommend them for surgery for your pet. Maybe just for vaccines, that is it.

I will forever blame This vet for the death of my cat. Let me start by staying he had it out for my cat from the second we walked in because my cat tried to scratch him. Then he told us that we are stupid for having him as an indoor cat because he wasnt fixed. We told us that the cat was blocked (stones) and he then kept him and did surgery to remove them.. We get the cat back and he would not pee on his own. We go back to the vet and all he did was drain his bladder!!! After another 12 hrs passed and the cat once again didn't pee on his own we took him to the animal ER where they told us how much pain he was in and that we was in rough shape.... $800 later I hold the ashes of my fur baby... Dr. Shung sent my cat home knowing he was not cured! After we brought him back because he didn't pee he should have kept him & went back in to check it out.. But no. If I could terminate his license I would.
And if anyone goes there for something serious be prepared for him to kill your animal.

As always the level of service I received was above and beyond my expectation. I will continue using their service as I have trusted them for over 3 decades, even through the change in ownership. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They are an absolute expert in the field. They always do their best to provide quality care to their customers even if it means making a referral to another provider. I know I can always count on them.

I would never recommend them....My pup got sick and I took her there...They have no idea what is going on with her....I feel that there is alot more they could of done to her but instead let her suffer...I took her to another place as I type right now she is in the vet hospital fighting for her life...she is on iv...this place didnt even test her for anything... or even say hey lets try this or that...nothing....
