Dr. Gwin is very professional and seems to know a lot about canine eye problems, however, if you're looking for a person who is friendly, outgoing, or acts remotely interested in your pet, go elsewhere. He is very cold, stern, and doesn't act like he even wants to be there. He acts annoyed if you question him, ask him anything really, or if you keep him for more than 10 minutes. I have a year old Golden Retriever who has dry eye due to a congenital defect. It is extremely rare to say the least. Dr. Gwin basically said "here, use these drops and see what happens". Well, nothing has happened. He gave us no alternative, no explanation, there was no communication whatsoever. I'm also pretty sure the "dry eye" solution he touts as being revolutionary has made my dog dependent on them (money making scheme???). Listen, I have nothing personal against the guy, but it seems to me he cares little about your dog, and more about his diagnosis being correct and making $.

This clinic knowingly gives out expired medicine. This has happened at almost every occasion I had to pick up my dogs eye medicine. I pay for a 3 month supply, which is the only amount I can get it in, and it almost always expired before then. Today I picked up my 3 month supply and it was going to expire in 3 days! When I called them they were laughing about it. They said they needed to use up the old stuff before they would make a new batch. Eye drops are not cheap and It is not a laughing matter. Completely irresponsible and unprofessional. Unfortunately this is my only choice of vet in my area.

They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. This veterinarian was extremely friendly, and paid attention to both me and my pet. They really made the extra effort to make us feel welcome and at home.
