I was traveling through Roswell with my dog, Penny Lane, who had been in congestive heart failure three weeks prior. The emergency room vet who saw her at home warned me that her heart condition had deteriorated.

Penny had such a bad spell 30 minutes outside of Roswell, that I knew I could not make her go through that multiple times if the congestive heart failure was already back. It was 4pm on Friday afternoon, when I called College Garden Animal Hospital (recommended by another vet, YELP reviews and two Roswell friends) to ask if she could be seen and put down if necessary. I was told I could come in immediately. The conscientious young woman who answered my call, took the information for the intake forms over the phone. When I walked in, everything was ready. I received a much needed hug and was waiting in a treatment room within five minutes. The wait was short. Dr. Taylor Green examined Penny, who was NOT in congestive heart failure. He gave a concise explanation of what was happening. He said new studies show that with the addition of another medication, the heart condition should be manageable for some time. He was just as warm and compassionate as the staff at the front desk. It was wonderful to receive a joyful hug from the young woman who gave me the first one, when I walked out of the room WITH my Penny Lane. College Garden Animal Hospital creates a remarkably loving, extremely professional atmosphere! I highly recommend them to anyone needing pet care in Roswell or the surrounding area.
