We have known Dr. Dave for more than a decade as he has expertly cared for two of our dogs. He also comes highly recommended for his skill as a veterinarian and surgeon.

Dr. Dave has a special character trait that makes him unique -- it is the way in which he cares for our furry friends. Initially we consulted with him after a wonderful, well-behaved German Shepherd appeared on our back porch nearly 12 years ago. He provided us with top-notch veterinary care, unsurpassed medical expertise and a calm demeanor.

Most recently, he cared for our 11-year-old Lab/German Shepherd who had a few health issues. He approached our current situation with a detailed and thorough exam during each visit, consulted with other specialists, and researched fully our dog's health condition. Needless to say, Dr. Dave has been a strong presence in our lives and in the lives of our animals.

His office staff also has been outstanding and are always pleasant and helpful.
We wish Dr. Dave many more years of success in his business.

Very warm and caring vet hospital

My family just moved to this area and we had a dog emergency! Our dog cut her paw in the stream and was bleeding badly. I didn't know who to call so we tried Chester Animal Hospital. It was a Saturday afternoon and Dr. Migliaccio offered to stay after hours and see our Sandy. I've never meet a nicer or more caring vet and staff. They were all very welcoming and concerned for Sandy. Dr. Migliaccio fixed her pad on her paw and also checked the rest of her out, for no additional charge. She is a cheerful (and active) dog and seemed to actually have fun during her emergency visit. I feel very lucky to have found this place. This is definitely Sandy's new doctor and I wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else.

Wow is all I can say about them. I have seen some vets become callused and unemotional but you will not find that here. The veterinarian and staff are extremely friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals. I have never seen my pets so calm at the veterinarian before. They really seem to have such a gift with animals here. Dr. Dave is a great diagnostician. Their boarding is very clean and my dogs always come home healthy and clean! Very happy with Chester Animal Hospital and wouldn't go any where else!

There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. The wait has gotten longer and longer from when I first started seeing them. The staff and veterinarian were completely unhelpful when it came to any advice on what I could be doing to keep my pet healthy and happy, they're supposed to be the experts I thought. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. It messed up my entire day.

They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I thought their pricing was very fair. I have been to other places that charge an arm and a leg and I was happy to see that they weren't one of them. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available.
