Took one of our cats in for emergency surgery this morning, on a recommendation from the emergency vet we took him to last night. I warned the "tech" that we believed his shots were out of date, that he was VERY scared, he did NOT like people he didn't know, he does NOT like strange places, and HE WILL TRY TO BITE! TAKE EXTREME PRECAUTIONS!. So what do they do? A pair of gloves and hope for the best? Seriously? The emergency room vet used what looked like welding gloves and a blanket to sedate him! I seriously believe that this "vet" office saw an opportunity to make more money off a bad situation (for us). Now, not only did our cat lose an eye due to an infection, but now he is under a 10 day quarantine because the "tech" knew more about my cat than I do. Never setting foot in this hole again!
