Was the best, most compassionate vet I have ever been to or had the pleasure to work for. I knew him in 1976 and still is after 42 years, 10-12 moves with the military and 10-12 more vets he is still the best I have ver seen!!

I want to respond to the person who brought their animals in on a Sunday for fleas. You apparently do not know the ungodly hours that Dr. Means spends every day taking care of hundreds of animals. He has called me as late as 10 pm to update me on my dogs. Until you walk in the mans shoes I do not think you should pass judgement. In my opinion Dr. Means should not even be open on Sunday. I have brought a stray dog in before office hours once due to being hit by a car. Dr. Means scooped him up from my car and took him inside. He did not even ask me my name. When I called out to him he said," I know who you are". Not only did he take care of the dog he also found him a home because he was a stray. Dr. Means is a wonderful vet and I would not take my animals anywhere else. Yes, the wait is long but any good doctor has a long wait.
