I love the friendly staff at the Hartland Veterinary clinic. Dr. Shannon does her best to explain things in a manner in which everyone will understand. Not only do they offer digital X-ray, they also have in house lab machines when your pet is sick she is willing to get the answers and results right away. She has a nice quiet clinic that gives you the time your pet deserves. I love how energetic and smart she is! plus she is the Doberman vet in the area!!!

First off I had a cat. I was maybe 17 when I got him. At first everyone was nice when I came in with my mom. Mind you my mom has used this vet since she was little that's why I picked it. When I started to bring in my cat by myself, they treated me like a kid! Probably thought I had no money. Anyways I had rescued a dog from a abusive home, I had to put her down last week in April on a Tuesday. I was heartbroken. We brought my dog into the vet I was crying my eyes out.. They set us in a room n my dog layed on the floor. They shaved her leg for the shot and my dog growled I said she came from a abused home years ago. They asked if she needed a muzzle!? NO! I had to let my BESTFRIEND go to heaven that day if she wanted to bite me before she passed so be it! They have her the shot n in less then a minute she was gone. They said "take all the time you need she's gone now" that upset me a lot who says ages gone now?! I layed on the floor with my dog , after about like 3/5mins the register lady comes in... What happened to take all the time you need?! I know it's a vet but no one was there besides us. So I feel we were rushed out. I paid and they charged me for an exam of my dog... They DID NOT EXAM MY DOG! They said it's required if the dog hasn't been there for the past 3 years... But before they said that they said my dog has never been there... Ended up paying almost 200$ that day.. I wouldn't if cared about the exam cost if they actually did a exam on my dog! If your gonna charge it don't be lazy and freaking exam a dog! ITS NOT THAT HARD! I lost my bestfriend and there was a never a I'm sorry that came out of there mouth. Me and my brother look very young but are in our 20s and just because we look young dose not mean we don't have a big heart... I've cried every night since my dog was put down. Not just cause I miss her but because how they treated me like a kid! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS VET TO ANYONE! Nor will I tell anyone anything about it. And if I do get another pet down the road I WILL NOT be returning to this vet. If I could rate no stars I would. I wanted to send this vet a personal letter in the mail, but figured since they treated me and my brother like crap there they would just toss it!

fun out going staff!!!! LOVE Dr. Shannon so happy to have found a new dr for my pets!! I will always be back as long as dr Shannon is working before dr Shannon the staff was mean and grumpy I remember a not so pleasant time before dr Shannon took over the business I couldn't be more happier with the staff and dr Shannon herself love love love the new hartland!!!!

Relaxed, caring atmosphere. All of my animals LOVE Dr. Genge (horses, dogs, cats). Fair pricing. I used their boarding services for my dogs and they were provided excellent care. No issues with referring to a specialist (a highly skiilled internist for my cat to remove a tumor).

I was lucky enough to find Hartland when my veterinarian of 17 years moved away. The staff members know me and my pets by name and are always friendly. What I like best is the way they relate with my animals. Dr Larson and the techs are professional but also very warm and interactive. When I lost my 14 year old dog last year they were very supportive and allowed me to stay in the room with him as long as I wanted to. They have never turned me away when I needed emergency help. They are a bit out of the way as they are not in town but they are still easy to find as they are located just off of 14. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.
