We have a Jersey who developed edema, she is our only cow. Dr. Bob is a hands on large animal doctor. Not only does he show compassion for the animal but is forthright about how to care for the animal.
We were deeply impressed by him, we would call on him again in a heart beat.
When we received his bill we were hesitant but to our surprise he is very reasonable.
So, 5 stars to Dr. Bob.

Dr. Julie has taken care of many of our family pets. I have found her to be very personable and helpful with our dogs. This clinic is also by far one of the cheapest ones in our area, with excellent care! We had a dog that got sickut of no where and Dr. Julie researched and called other vets trying to figure out what had happened. We ended up taking our dog to the Madison Vet Hospital, and well they were with running tests, Dr. Julie and her staff called several times to check on us and our dog as wel a go over any tests we didn't understand. When we decided it was time to put our dog down, Dr. Julie worked with the staff in Madison so we could bring her home so our family could say good bye. Dr. Julie and her staff stayed after hours and waited for us to say our goodbyes and were beyond helpful through the entire process. No one was ever able to figure out what happened to our dog, but when we decided it was time to get a new one, the staff at Blackhawk Vet s very encouraging and helpful with any questions we had. They always make us feel welcomed and appreciated and are never in a rush when we come in with our pets. THANK YOU Blackhawk Vet staff and Dr. Julie

When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.

Absolutely! They are happy to answer all of my questions
Were the restrooms clean at this provider's office?
Yes, they were immaculate!
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit?
Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!

I felt absolutely at ease leaving my pet here- everything is brand-new and top of the line. Their equipment is all the most advanced, so I knew my pet would be getting top of the line treatment. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.
