Yes, they are so amazing. They will come to the office after-hours for any emergency

I called the after hours number this morning (3/14/11) around 3:00 central time to see if a doctor could do an emergency visit for my mom's cat, who had cut his leg on broken glass and had severe bleeding. The after hours operator connected me to Dr. Whitlow over the phone and he agreed to meet them at his office. He said for them to call when they were about 20 minutes out. I wasn't there for the visit but my mom said that Dr. Whitlow was very nice (even though it was the middle of the night) and that her kitty was well taken care of! Unfortunately, she had to drive 30 minutes to receive care ...BUT, It's nice to know that there are some vets out there with concern for the lives of our pets, unlike the vet(s) in our area who will not do emergency calls after hours or on weekends. Thank you Dr. Whitlow!! You are greatly appreciated!
