This gym is fairly small, but kept clean , cable machines rarely kept up with so they have a tendency to drag and be ineffective. Furthermore the rules limiting cardio use make no sense. Once I got a complaint for breathing "too heavy" and "sweating too much". Owners are nice but many of the others in the gym are inconsiderate, also many of the older patrons use incredible amounts of cologne and perfume making it impossible to breathe. Don't forget they're gym is usually a balmy 50-52 degrees.

Not a good place to work out, too many rules ( can t spend more than an hour in the cardio machines, must bring clean shoes to use just for the gym, must bring a towel if you sweat, etc) . The equipment are very old and not all really work. The owners are older and do not want to put must hours to work in the place, so they make these crazy rules. They are also rude and act like they are doing you a favor, they forget that customer service is part of the job.

I have been a member for nearly 10 years and have enjoyed every workout session whether it be weights or cardio. I really appreciate the array of free and machine weights for this small town gym. The cardio selection is unbelievable with an added bonus of a "curves" like circuit. The 24 hour access can't be beat, the location is easy, the place is always clean and the owner is friendly and available. The request of the owner to avoid running on a treadmill late at night or early morning is easy to overcome as the request only regards those machines in the one room that abuts the connected 2nd floor apartment. A request that is both easy to understand as it is 24 hours access, AND respect as there are other treadmills in a different room that can just as easily be used if that is your plan for your workout. The rules and expectations at this gym are no different than at other gyms, I would go so far as to say they are less restrictive due to it's small town atmosphere. I can't say anything negative and would recommend this gym to any and all interested in improving their health and fitness in a positive, welcoming, clean environment.

This gym is the best in the area. The location, parking, equipment, and 24 hour access all make this is a truly wonderful place to work out. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and were always there for me in any way that I needed. Completely disregard the previous reviewer, as he is apparently a complete fool that likes to play the "race" card and accuse others of racism without hesitation. To call the owners of this gym racist is absolutely offensive. They are sweet people and this gym is a terrific place, so don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Work out here, you wont be disappointed!

Terrible place to work out, very old equipment.Worse than that the owners are not friendly and possibly racist.
I used to work out in this gym, despite nothing in the contract or policies I was told I was not allowed to come twice a day. They advertise the gym as 24 hours but then indicated that they did not want people to run at night. Worst of all, I was told I was not allowed to run more than 30 min because "he does not make money on anybody running for more than that." I ended my membership the same day after he told me that.
Now this may be more because I am of Latin descent in a predominantly white community or it may be that the owner prefers people who do not really use there membership, either way not a place me or my family will ever return to.
