I highly recommend Elkin OB/GYN! Melissa Tharpe is the BEST! She takes the time to answer ALL questions. I drive from Mt. Airy to Elkin and it is well worth the drive for the peace of mind. I know that if I have a problem they won't quit until they get to the bottom of the problem.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. It is right off and freeway and close to all kinds of shops. I was able to do my shopping for the week right after my appointment.

I always tell my friends looking for a new OBGYN to go here. Melissa Tharpe, WHNP has been my gyno for years and I wouldn't go to anyone else! She's the best! She always listens to every question or concern I may have and takes extra time to meet my needs. The office is never crowded or overbooked with patients so you can come and go in a timely fashion. If you want the doctors that care, go to Elkin OBGYN!
