I saw on website that they offer pediatric service but when I called them I was told this is not so. Is this false advertisement?

My mother has been a patient with Comfort Hospice for quite awhile and they work as hard today as they did when I signed with them. I tried two different hospice company's before Comfort and before I signed they'd tell me all the great people and programs they had and after I signed their contracts, I was lucky if I'd see the nurse once in awhile. With Comfort I know mom's being seen because the Comfort workers communicate with our group home staff and together they work as one. Their nurses see mom at least once a week but she's needed some extra care and her nurses stop by to check on her. Their aid who helps mom bath has had a heck of a time with mom yet she never complains. Moms sickness has made her nasty yet the aids and the nurses never complain. Comforts Chaplin visits mom almost weekly and he calls me after every time not only to let me know how moms doing but to let me know he's there for our family should we ever want to see or talk with him. He brings his guitar and sings songs and prays with mom. I've called their main office about six times and whomever answers the phone already knows all about mom before I finish saying her name. Their manager has made himself available to me from the beginning but with their hardworking caring staff, I get the answers I'm looking for within minutes of calling. If you need hospice services or are unhappy with your loved ones care, give them a call. They do all the work and you will rest easy like I do. John M.

There are not enough words to convay to CHC to express my thanks for all their help during a very difficult time. All the medical equiptment arrived with no effort on my part. The staff were so kind & conciderate, the Chaplian was at my side until my husband drew his last breath.The volunteer Laurie blessed me with her presence which allowed me to go out once a week. Our wonderful CNA Jackie is an angel and magically appeared when I was desparate. It was like having an extended family by my side. Thank you, thank you all so much.

My father was treated with the utmost kindness, csre and respect! The nurses were so attentive. Danny and Vanessa were always availalble and went above and beyond and helped mt Dad and all of us through his last few months. I reccomend Comfort Hospice to everyone.

I am the legal gaurdian for my sister and brother in law. Both had Alzheimers and had to go to a facility as they could not live at home anymore. Alzheimers health problems causes death. My sister died first and my borther in law 3 years later. Comfort hospice Care was there for both in the end caring for them with medication, personal care as well as spiritual comfort. This was a great relief and comfort to me as I could not be there everyday or give them the professional help they needed. I would highly reccomend Comfort Hospice Care and their staff for anyone who is ill and needs help. They are professional,caring and a great help and comfort to both patient and family

We had a wonderful nurse named Paul. He came all the time and also had aides and a chaplain and social worker. The entire experience was wonderful. Our family will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion the team at Comfort Hospice showed us. We recommend them to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and kindness. They were always availalble and always had time to answer questions and never rushed us. It was truly wonderfvul!

They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. This provider has so much helpful information available online. They have an impressive website that's easy to use, with forms that you can fill out before your appointment. They also have a great online presence in multiple directories. I was seen almost as soon as I called they sent out as assessment team and was checked out better than my own doctor does! They called one of their doctors sitting right next to me and discussed my care including me in what I wanted.for my care. It is of great comfort knowing that I am involved in my care an not pushed around.. I absolutely love the staff. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. I felt like a part of a family not assembly line patient care. The other comments left here must be mistaken, I know there is strict criteria for hospice and how grateful I am that they adhere to medicare rules.
