I was dealing with some difficult personal and family issues. From the very first session it was clear I was meeting with someone who treated me as an intelligent person capable of understanding the way the mind works and how I had made the decisions I had made along the way. He gave me the tools to confront the thinking and behavioral issues I had used for coping and find alternative strategies. Mirko is very practical and NOT full of psycho babble and "How does that make you feel" statements. Mirko never let me off the hook (like changing the topic), always used humor to ease my tension and keep me focused though the 10 months we worked together. He helped me develop plans and held me accountable for following through. I always left with tangle ideas to reflect upon. Mirko is one in a million and I will always be grateful for his help. I highly recommend him to anyone to really wants to get to the root of an issue, deal with it and move forward with their life.

Mirko has an innate ability with great softness and light to assist his clients in penetrating the smallest of cracks and openings in one's emotional protective armor. This process allows the light and seeds to be planted to grow and work with ease to erode and break down the barriers with confidence and comfort.

When I met Mirko I was ready for a drastic change in my life. I knew there was something better out there for me. I had been through so many therapists over the years and none of them were effective. It was all the same Freudian approach, just with a different therapist and it never worked. I was so tired of the gauntlet - tell me about your childhood. What kind of relationship do you/did you have with your mother? I knew Mirko was much different from the first time I met him, he wanted to hear about me. Mirko's knowledge across many disciplines makes him very effective. He knows how to incorporate a persons religion/spirituality, culture, history to name a few in order to execute positive change in a person's being. In the almost three years that I've worked with Mirko I've seen myself grow beyond the limitations of my past. I now have a hopeful and confident future to look forward to, thanks to Mirko's help.

I have been seeing Mirko Pavlek for about a year and can truly say he has changed my life. I have seen other therapists in the past but no one has even come close to helping me as much as Mirko has. From my first visit, I felt very comfortable with him and could tell that he loves his profession. It is easy to see he truly cares for his clients. Each session progresses at my own pace and the office atmosphere is very relaxing. Mirko’s therapy methods have been able to help me get to the bottom of my anxiety and he has given me tools to use to decrease my anxiety in everyday life. I am now able to do things I never thought I could do before, and I credit all that to the work I have done with Mirko. I have had an amazing experience and would recommend Mirko to anyone.
