Apparently this Doctor does not take any diabetes patient with Aetna PPO. No reason given. Really strange.

My thyroid problem has not been managed well for too long. I was referred to Dr. Rubenstein by my primary care doctor. He was very attentive to my problem and diagnosed the problem. He explained how my low thyroid was affecting me and prescribed a treatment. He sees me periodically and I continue to feel well. He is one of the better doctors in my life.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. Questions were not encouraged and were answered with short answers. My biggest complain, though. was that his treatment for my diabetes was slow and ineffective. After 5 months, my blood sugar was still out of control with Dr. Rubenstein. Within 2 weeks of treatment by another doctor, they were back to normal. He acted like he just didn't care.

i was a patient of Dr. Rubenstein. His office is always packed with patients waiting their turn. It is routine that i would wait for more than an hour past the appointment time. When i saw him, he opens the chart and you feel that he is just reads it as you sit there. he takes you through the tests ( that he performs inhouse like sonograms) and prescribes the pills.
It was evident when he talked to me, that he is impatient to move on and see the ten or fifteen patients that are camped outside in the waiting room. His office overbooks his time and as a patient, you certainly do feel that he really is not concerned with your case. You feel that you are just another person in long Que, filing through his office.
i tried to switch to another doctor in the office ( Endocrine Associates, LLC) . I could not. His secretary said that he does not allow it.
When I wanted to get my medical records, his office was unfriendly and at times rude.
Dr. Rubenstein charged $26 ( he said, there is a charge per page)
He even charged for a one page copy of last sonogram($3)!.

All in all it was a miserable experience for me, i would not advise anyone to undertake the same experience.

I was really able to get a lot of information after my visit, and I left feeling a renewed sense of hope. I was definitely satisfied with the level of care I received here. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.

Dr, Rubenstein is a top notch doctor. I have gone to him for years and I would recommend him to anyone lucky enough to have him as a doctor.

Never, they go out of their way to address every concern of mine immediately
