I have been going to Plainfield Vision Center for years. Good service at a good price. I would bring frames in and they would fill the prescription, no problems. The last 2 years have changed, I would bring frames and the prescriptions would 1.- take at least 2 months to receive and 2. - frames would be returned damaged with the new prescription lenses. In December 2024 I returned a pair of frames that I ordered because they were blurry. I was told they would redo it and get back to me. After the 2nd set were also blurry I returned the lenses for my $ back. I have been told come back Tuesday, come back Friday, come back Saturday, we will Zelle you back - All excuses. I am not sure why the change in service quality. But it's really really BAD.. Beware !!!
They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.I was very comfortable talking with Dr. Scott the staff ist friendly They are warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, The office was easy enough to find.
I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. I bought the most beautiful pair of glasses here. I was pleasantly surprised at the very large selection of frames to choose from and am definitely going to recommend others to check them out. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important.
Their exams are so much better than other optometrists I've been too. The exam was quick and pain-free. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart.
