They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. This is not an upscale, Beverly Hills type of salon but don't let that scare you off! The shop is homey and simple and anyone can go, young or old (they cater to seniors), female or male of all ages . The hair service done can match or exceed any salon. Don't be afraid to ask advise. Nancy, the owner, has an eye for color and cut and she can style any way you like.It's too bad small shops like Asahi often go un-noticed just because it's not on a busy major street or located at the mall. I've been going to Nancy to several years now and I wish I had gone sooner. The workers are like friends and there's always lively conversation. My daughter, a teen with long hair, and son, a young adult, refuse to go anywhere else. Some of the workers have customers that have been coming for over 25-40 years! We all feel at home there.By appointment only.
