I have never given a bad review but hands down the worst haircut I have ever had. I will never go back and I will tell everyone to do the same.
The cut - I asked for layers, he gave me feathered ends (which basically looks like split ends & my long hair still looks flat). When I asked for some traditional layers he grabbed a huge section high on my head at a straight edge cut a huge chunk of hair, ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED. My long hair is gone and so is my signature look. Not to mention it looks like a 2-year-old cut my hair. The majority of my hair is past my chest the chunk missing is at my shoulder (and it won't go past my shoulder so it hangs in front!?) no layers / no angles in between - WTF was he thinking. The first thing I told him as I've had nightmares about cutting my long hair, and I wanted to leave it long.
When it got to dying the hair, I asked for the ends to be done so I could color the tips of my hair. He attempted to put dye at the back of my head. I freaked out a little (as I'm a brunette and would have been totally blond) He got mad when I asked him to wash it out (so I didn't have a bleach spot on the back of my head) & even tried to let me leave the salon with wet hair when it was 25 degrees F outside. The other hairstylist had to offer to dry my hair.
Of course, he started off (after I told him it was my birthday) pointing out my aging and recommended I part it differently. Zero customer service + didn't take into account how I always wear my hair or the features on my face (e.g. nose ring). Now if I try to do my signature look I have a chunk of hair missing from one side of my face.
