My hairstylist was out of town and I needed a haircut. I am 7 months pregnant and needed a hairstyle that is easy to manage. I gave specific instructions on what I wanted. The stylist said that she had been cutting hair for a long time, however, from the outcome it is evident that she needs to go back to school. I would not recommend going here for a cut if you are looking for a cute/fresh style.

I went into Le Salon to get a trim and highlights. Because I had a lot of regrowth I knew they would have to do a foil. Instead of a trim the stylist cut 4 inches off my hair and I went from having long hair that reached the middle of my back to hair just below my shoulder. Then I was turned away from the mirror when she started the color. She showed me the brown she was going to use but never showed me the blonde. The lighting is somewhat low in there so I couldn't see that the highlights in my hair were orange instead of blonde. I didn't tip the stylist because I was unhappy with the cut. When I got home and could see that my hair was not only orange but it was very streaky and had several different tones of brown blonde black and orange in it.

I went back to the salon to ask them for a refund for the color. I was willing to pay for the cut because I know that my hair will grow back but the color needed to be fixed. They refused to refund my money, said they wanted to fix it and I told them I didn't want them touching my hair. They told me my hair was gold not orange and that it was perfectly normal for hair to be orange/gold on regrowth. I know this to be false because I have been to other salons with more regrowth than I entered this salon with and it came out just fine. I also have a 1/2 inch of root that was not covered and they said that was normal that a foil could not reach to the root and I know that to be false as well since I have had highlights several times before and never have I ever had roots showing like I do right now. I've been to Cost Cutters, Master Cuts, and Regis Salon and I have never been this dissatisfied with the color of my hair. I was told that I would never be satisfied with anything anyone did for me because I didn't want them to fix my hair. I was also told I never should have came into have my hair done there if I trusted someone else. They were right and I am advising anyone else that even considers having their hair done there to think twice and then go to the person you trust.

These people do absolutely horrible work on hair! They butcher your hair when you just want a trim. When they color your hair, they leave roots of the original color and your hair turns orange and odd colors. They should be turned into the BBB and be labeled as shysters.

I went in to get my hair touched up for my best friends wedding. I am blonde and asked for them to just fill in the roots. she was drying my hair with me turned away from the mirror, and changed her mind on finishing even drying my hair, rushing me out the building before completely drying my hair. when i passed a mirror with her hand on my back, i said woah! thats a little dark isnt it? she replied that it will lighten as it dries, and gave me my total. which i paid plus a large tip. when my hair dried, i looked in the mirror and found my hair to be black!!! my teenage kids laughed at me when i walked in the house and said now all i need is a nose ring and a crack pipe cuz my hair looked soo horrible! i was mortified! And not the impression i wanted to give my fellow christians at church. i had 3 days til my friends wedding...Le Salon refused to get me in to correct it before my friends wedding saying they were all booked up. But i begged, how do you get black from blonde???!!!
I went to Envy Salon in Sturgis, they were more then helpful. She came in on her day off and worked several hours fixing my hair before the wedding.
I went to Le Salon and asked for my money back which they also denied to refund. its been over a year and my hair that once ran to the middle of my back is now to my shoulders, which is also grown out from the original cut of the dead hair that fried from the inexperience Le Salons beautician provided.
Envy has brought my hair back to a luster and beauty and health in that time, but it will take probably another few years to correct Le Salons damage and get my hair to where it once was.
