I wish I could give The Design Team Salon in Cabot, Arkansas zero stars for its lack of professionalism but I have to rate at least one star. On Wednesday, 11/10/2021, I called the Design Team Salon to make an appointment with Rhonda K. Smith Polk after being referred to her by one of her clients. I spoke with Natasha Smith who made an appointment for me to see Rhonda the following Tuesday, 11/16/2021 at 11:00 a.m. I arrived at the salon for my appointment to find the salon closed. I called the salon and left a detailed message. On Thursday,11/18/2021, I received a call from Rhonda apologizing that she had missed my appointment stating that she was out of state for a funeral and because Natasha had not properly entered my information into the system she was unaware that I had made an appointment. I returned Rhonda’s call the same day and again left a detailed message. On Saturday,11/20/2021 Rhonda returned my call, which I missed. I returned her call a few hours later. It is now Wednesday, 11/24/2021, and I have not heard back from Rhonda since Saturday, 11/20/2021. I have wasted two weeks of my time attempting to make an appointment with Rhonda. If she was not accepting new clients Natasha could have informed me of this on my initial call on 11/10/2021 or Rhonda could have informed me in one of the messages she left me. I’m a former microblade artist (from Texas) and I would have never treated a potential new client the way Natasha and Rhonda have treated me. I categorically do not recommend this salon based on their unprofessional behavior.
