I’ve known Ana’ and her cousin Lela for at least 35 year from Harlem. I can understand a customer may feel Ana might extend favoritism to some of her older customers that’s how you build Clientele. Maybe you should speak to whatever styles you go to make sure you are treated professionally and you are completely satisfied or just don’t go back.

***BEWARE** NEVER GO TO THIS SALON. Their customer service skills are horrible! Went on a Saturday to get a wash and set, sat there for almost 4 hours noticed that the owner *Ana* tends to favortize certain customers and caters to them before accepting other clients that were there before them. If you don't speak up you will be the last person leaving. After approximately 4 hours I finally get in the chair, decided to let the owner *Ana* do my hair, when explaining to her what I would like done, she did the total opposite and cut my hair at least 3 inches shorter than I asked. When noticing that she was cutting my hair shorter, I inform her of the length, she very rudely stated "Let me do my job, you ask me to trim you hair and that's what I'm doing"!! Mine you this was in front of clients that were there. Also, if you decide to go here always ask the price of what you're getting , she also tends to charge certain clients more than what's on her price list. I will never go here in my life, such a horrible experience and my hair turned out horrible!
