I felt a little pressured to buy products, but it wasn't overbearing. Still, I wish they had been a little more professional. The lady that cut my hair, her name was Tammy, was very nosy, asking a lot of questions about my personal life and kept telling me when her Birthday was. She also kept telling me how much people give her in tips, I'm sure she was just trying to get a tip out of me. I felt she really wasn't listening when I explained to her how I wanted my hair cut, she kept telling me what SHE thought would look good! The cut was OK, but not as good as she kept telling me it was. There was one black girl, who was sitting at her station eating fried chicken, this was so unprofessional and very unsanitary! Really this place is a 2nd rate salon, with unprofessional workers....beware!
I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance. They had great prices. I barely had to pay anything. They needed to pay a little more attention to detail, to make sure they didn't make any mistakes. I could tell their entire attention wasn't focused on me. They left me completely alone for a long time and I became very nervous. Every time I come in for an appointment, and throughout the appointment, I'm always having to remind them who I am and what my circumstances are. It's very frustrating. I was left in the shampoo bowl with perm solution on my hair while the stylist Joanna was doing her friends hair. Very unprofessional, I will not return.
