I went in to have my hair cut and colored with Lisa. I brought in a wig to show her the exact color and style I wanted. I explained that my hair had been damaged by extensions and told her I realized I did not have the volume of hair the wig had, but the style of the wig would work until my hair grew back in. My hair was shoulder length and pretty thin when I walked in. The wig was shorter in the back and angled long toward the front, like Kate Beckham's old style. I told her I wanted her to use the wig for reference. She did a good job on the color, but she gave me the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. When I walked out of the salon my bangs stuck straight out, the sides were stringy and choppy, the back was choppy too. It was just awful. I cannot believe what she did to my hair! As she was cutting it, I asked her several times if she wanted me to pull the wig out again for her to see how it was cut, because it just did not look like she was cutting it right. Each time she said, "No, I know what the wig looks like." Obviously she had no clue. Not until she was styling it with a roller brush (the wig was straight), and I said I looked like a librarian, did she agree to take another look at the wig I brought in. By then it was too late, she had already cut the sides too short and layered places that were supposed to be long. Then she used a flat iron on it. When she was done, there was absolutely no style to it, my hair (what was left of it), stuck straight out all around my head. I could not go home and let my fiancé see my hair like that, I had to go somewhere else that same day to have them try and do something with it. The stylist I went to said she had seen some bad hair cuts, but mine was one of the worst she had seen. It was so butched and choppy, she had to cut my hair extremely short just to get some style to it. Lisa knew I was not happy. I was in such shock at the time, I should have refused to pay. One of her coworkers even came over and offered me a styling product to try and "funk it up a little" which was I believe her way of saying, 'to make it look somewhat presentable.' Not even that worked. It was so bad!!! I cannot even express in this review how bad it was!!! If the stylists present during my appointment did not realize what a total butch job I received I would be totally amazed. Lisa does not have a clue on how to cut hair!!!! CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!

Absolutely! They were very entertaining!
Did your hair stylist make sure he/she didn't spray water in your face?
Absolutely. The stylist was very careful to make sure I stayed completely dry.
Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office?
Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!
Did your stylist make an effort to keep hair off of your clothes during your visit?
Yes, they went above and beyond
Do you feel that you could have received better service somewhere else?
Definitely not; I received the best service ever!

Cheryl Hogan, the owner of Cutters Four, is a color specialist and the stylist that has been working with my hair for the past four years. I have long hair and it has never looked healthier or shinier. Cheryl attends hair shows and educational conventions to keep up on all the latest products and procedures. The staff at Cutters Four is always upbeat and friendly. I look forward to my hair appointments and I'm never disappointed with the results!

I usually settle for Fantastic Sam's haircuts, but the last one was pretty bad so I looked up options on the internet. Without knowing what to expect, I called this salon. Jimmy Dean answered the phone. I often find talking to stylists uncomfortable, but Jimmy put me at ease and by the end of the appointment had a good understanding of my hair and my habits. He was genuinely interested in finding a cut that fit my needs and asked many questions, plus he walked me through a few products and techniques. The price is very reasonable, and he is experienced and attentive. It is cash or check as each stylist is independent.
