Allure Salon is by far the BEST salon I've ever been to, and I've been doing my hair professionally since I was 17 years old. The front desk and the entire staff are very accommodating. They go out of their way to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Roger has been my hair colorist for over 20 years and I would follow him anywhere. He's simply the best! If you want a terrific haircut or blowout, Cori is your girl and Raquel for fabulous makeup worthy of any magazine cover or runway show. Regardless of what your specific needs are, you can never go wrong at Allure. You will consistently walk out feeling pampered, special and FABULOUS every single time!!!

I've been going to Roger for highlights and Raquel for cuts for over 15 years! I will never go anywhere else - they are the BEST! The people at Allure Salon make it a very special place. They are friendly, professional and well trained. They all go above and beyond to make the experience positive...from Allan's welcoming greeting, to Eric's cheerful personality, to Hanan's amazing hairwash/scalp massage, to the incredible cuts/styles that Raquel comes up with, and finally, to Roger who is the most talented colorist ever!

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. Allen is always so welcoming at the front desk. Roger does AMAZING color and has so much fun while doing it. He always ends up getting it perfect no matter what I ask him to do. And he has always fixed other colors errors without ever making me feel bad for cheating on him. Hanan gives the most relaxing washes, its like being at a spa. I have been going here only for a couple years after hopping salons for the first 33 years of my life. Love the entire staff. I will never go anywhere else again. They are easy to find, accomodating with hours, and always exceed my expectations. My hair always looks so beautiful when I leave!

I started going here last year after deciding I was done commuting to Mahattan every 6 weeks for haircut and color. The owners are nice, one of the owners (I forget his name) does my color, and I am VERY HAPPY with his work. The color looks very natural, he covers the grey very well, and my hair is still healthy so I know he is using the right products. The man who they recommended cut my hair Colin gives a decent haircut, but is lacking in communication skills (like he doesn't even say Hello). I'm not a fan of constant chattering and I don't want to become friends with my hairdresser but it is strange to have the person cutting your hair not say one word throughout the process. I gave him specific instructions and he follower them but I am not sure he would suggest anything exciting otherwise.

The prices are not cheap, but compared to Manhattan they are a bargain.

My biggest complaint (to me it's a huge one) is that the place is DIRTY and run down. Some of the stylists bring in their pets, every surface is covered in something dusty or sticky, the hairdresser kept coughing into his hands while touching my hair (gross!) and his brushes and combs were not kept in sterile solution, they were jumbled into the drawers. He dropped the comb and brush several times while cutting my hair and picked them right up off the floor and kept reusing them. All the above are health violations. In either case, after my most recent experience there (getting my hair coughed on repeatedly), I left the place with my skin crawling A salon is supposed to make you feel pampered, I just felt like I needed a shower. I still go there but I never look forward to the experience like I did at my previous salon.

I would give this place 5 stars if not for it being filthy.
