I walked into Absolute Image this evening to see about getting a haircut, and for some reason a simple inquiry turned very strange. Admittedly it was late in the evening - a little after 5:00, but the signs out front say "walk-ins welcome", there are no posted business hours. The proprietor, who was working on a customer at the time, informed me that it was too late to get a haircut that day, which is totally fine - I completely understand. When I asked what her normal business hours are, she became really condescending and downright weird about things. I was very uncomfortable with the exchange, mostly because it was unclear why the situation got confrontational. It took less than a minute to decide this wasn't someone I wanted wielding scissors around my head.
