They are extremely unprofessional. One lady has her family in there constantly just sitting around for hours. Others have friends which sit and talk to them and distract them from their jobs. Their hair, which is usually cut unusual and dyed all different shades definitely takes away from their professionalism. All in all, someone needs to go in and observe what happens on a day to day basis. They get away with murder.

I was in town for a visit and decided to get a new do while at wal-mart.My hair has always had problems with being too big and unable to tame. I informed her about this and even showed her a picture of what I had in mind for my curly hair. All she did was trim my already layered hair and thinned out the ends, which made it look burned. I thought that maybe with some styling my hair would look nice, but it was a mess. I had my mom cut my hair and it was 10 times better. She looked professional but didn't even have her equipment with her when she was cutting my hair.

I wasn't too impressed with their level of service. It wasn't terrible but I think that I probably could've gotten better service somewhere else.
I don't have my hair done at Smartstyle, I do my own. I do buy my shampoo and other hair products, I was into Walmart yesterday and the hairdresser was sitting with her feet in another chair on a cell phone texting or something similar, she did not say a word to me. I saw they were out of my hair spray, went on shopping, left within in the hour and when I passed the salon, the young gal was in the same position.
