The get down with the get down in braiding. They are the best in Saint Paul that I know of. I always go back there. Mimi has a very nice personality and she's very friendly. Amy is very nice as well she doesn't talk much but she's nice. The other two ladies are also nice if you engage them in conversation they will talk with you.

They did a pretty good job on my daughter and my hair. I will be returning. The shop could use some cleaning, but that will not keep me from returning.

A1 express hair braiding was by far the worst hair shop I've been to, not because of the braids but because of the customer service not once during the 9 hours I was there did the braider introduce herself, nor was I told until 4 hours in that their style of braiding will NOT braid past my natural hair, and would cost a extra 100.00$ to do so because my natural hair is "long" (about 8'inches). A1 is unsanitary my braider would just take random food breaks and not bother to wash her hands before continuing to braid and when I would make a request they would rather argue then compromise with me (a paying customer). Very bad experience I would not go back to A1 express hair braiding again.

A-1 Express Hair Braiding's primary concern is what's best for me, and only gives me the advice that would benefit me the most. A-1 Express Hair Braiding gave about the same level of care as other doctors I have been to for the same problem. A-1 Express Hair Braiding paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. My stylist made sure to not spray water in my face. I felt very relaxed. At A-1 Express Hair Braiding's office it was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule.
